Highlight a Featured Post at the Top of Your Blog

A featured (hero) post keeps your most important article in front of readers, whether it is an announcement, a cornerstone guide or a seasonal offer.

Why feature a post

• Important content stays visible even as new articles arrive.
• Popular posts get more traffic and engagement.
• Evergreen guides remain easy to find.

Add one

1. Go to Sites > Blog and click your blog's name.
2. Click the option to Edit Site.
3. Drag the Featured Post element to the top of the blog home page.
4. Select the post you want to feature.
5. Choose a layout and decide which details to show, such as image, title, description, author and date.
6. Publish the blog site.

Switching the featured post

Open the editor again, click the element and pick another post. The new selection appears after you republish.

Good to know: Feature only published posts, and update your pick regularly so repeat visitors see something new.
