Collect Details for Every Ticket in a Group Registration
When one person buys several tickets, you often need to know who each seat belongs to. Multi-attendee registration collects name, email, and any custom answers for every ticket in the order, and includes a copy shortcut that makes group bookings quick.
How the Checkout Works
- The buyer selects ticket types and quantities. Different ticket types, even a free ticket, can be combined in one order.
- The buyer is automatically Attendee 1 and carries a BUYER badge on Ticket 1.
- A separate form appears for each additional ticket, asking for the same fields you configured for the event.
- The buyer completes or copies each form, then pays.
Each attendee gets their own record and their own confirmation email. The buyer's email is used for the order receipt.
Using Copy Data From
On any ticket after the first, a Copy data from dropdown lists the attendees already completed in this order, for example "Ticket 1 - Early Bird (BUYER)". Choose one, and every field fills in. All fields stay editable, so a company team can copy once and change only names and emails.
Copying works only within the current registration, not from earlier orders.
Tips for Organizers
- Require only essential fields; each extra one multiplies across every ticket.
- Add custom questions (dietary needs, t-shirt size, session choice) only if you need an answer per person. Shared facts like company name are best copied.
- Tell group buyers about the copy shortcut in your event description.
Why It Helps
Individual records make badges, check-in, targeted reminders, and wallet passes accurate for every guest.
Good to know: Review a registration in the Registrations tab to see each attendee linked to their own ticket.
