Set Up and Sell Gift Cards
Sell branded, prepaid gift cards that customers can buy for themselves or someone else — with balances tracked automatically and redemption built into your checkouts.
Create a gift card product
- Go to Payments > Gift Cards and click + Create Gift Card.
- Add a name, description, and any terms or expiry date.
- Customize the look with a gradient or your own uploaded artwork.
- Set the denominations you want to offer (for example, $25, $50, $100) and how many of each you have available, if you're limiting inventory.
- Optionally assign a tax setting and product category.
- Review and save.
Sell it
Once a gift card product exists and you have a payment method connected, you can sell it several ways:
- Dedicated checkout link — from the gift card's Sell screen, copy the link and share it directly with customers.
- Embed code — copy the embed snippet and drop it into your website, blog, or a landing page outside the platform.
- QR code — generate one from the gift card tile for print materials, or share the QR link digitally.
- Add it to an existing checkout — include the gift card as a line item on a form (via the Sell Products element), a funnel, your store, a payment link, or an invoice.
Whichever channel you use, the customer picks a denomination, chooses whether it's for themselves or someone else, sets a delivery date, and completes payment. They get a confirmation with a way to view or download the card.
Keep track of what's sold
Every card you've sold or sent appears under Gift Card Orders, showing total cards issued, order values, and how many unique customers have bought one — useful for a quick check on how the program is performing without digging through individual transactions.
