Modify Existing Subscriptions

Update an active, scheduled, or trialing subscription without canceling and rebuilding it from scratch — add or remove products, change quantities, or adjust the billing dates.

What you can change

• Add additional products to an existing subscription (they must share the same billing frequency)
• Remove products
• Adjust quantities, from 1 up to 1000
• Modify the start or end date

How to make a change

1. Go to Payments → Subscriptions and select the subscription you want to update.
2. Click Update.
3. Add or remove products, adjust quantities, or edit dates as needed.
4. Review the preview showing the updated products, quantities, and total before confirming.
5. Save.

Supported providers

Stripe, Square, NMI, and Authorize.net.

Good to know

Changes take effect starting with the next billing cycle — they don't retroactively change anything already charged. Note that prorating a mid-cycle change (charging or crediting the difference immediately) isn't currently supported, so plan changes with the next cycle's timing in mind.
