Scroll to a Section on the Same Page
Scroll links make long pages easier to navigate. A click on a button, text link, image or menu item sends the visitor smoothly to a chosen section.
Get the section's selector
- Open the page in the builder and click the target section.
- In the right panel open the Advanced tab.
- Copy the value from the CSS Selector field. It starts with a # symbol.
Pick a method
Text link: highlight the text, click the link icon and enter your page address followed by the selector, such as yourdomain.com/#section_abc12.
Button with a URL: select the button, open Button Actions, set Link To to Website URL and enter the same address and selector.
Button with the built-in action: set Link To to Scroll to Element and choose the section from the dropdown. This is the simplest option.
Menu item: open the three dots beside the item, change Go to to the website URL option, enter the address and selector, and click Submit.
Things to know
- Scrolling works only within one page, not between funnel steps.
- Movement is smooth by default.
- Give every target a unique selector. If two share one, only the first is used.
- If nothing happens, confirm the selector starts with # and refresh before testing.
Good to know: Add a short "Back to top" scroll button on long pages; it keeps mobile visitors from swiping endlessly.
