Build a Quiz From Scratch or From a Template

A quiz collects contact details, scores answers, and shows each person a tailored result. It is an effective way to segment leads and start the right follow-up.

Builder tabs

  • Edit: Add pages, questions and design elements.
  • Settings: Logic, results and integrations.
  • Notifications: Team email alerts and Auto Responder.
  • Submissions: Review responses without leaving the builder.

Elements

From Quick Add: Single Choice, Multiple Choice, Yes/No, Short and Long Answer, Number, Single and Multi Dropdown, personal info (name, date of birth, phone, email), address fields, Rating, plus Text, HTML, Captcha and Source. You can also add contact custom fields with Add Object Fields. Drag elements to reorder; the page auto-scrolls on long quizzes.

Create one

  1. Go to Sites > Quizzes.
  2. Click + Add Quiz, or click New and choose Start with Template Library.
  3. Browse templates grouped by goal, such as lead generation, scoring or assessment. Click one to preview its structure.
  4. Click Continue to open it in the editor.
  5. Edit questions, answers, logic, design and results. Everything is customizable, and templates are mobile-ready.
  6. Add and arrange pages, set scoring (see the scoring guide), Save, and preview.
  7. Share the link or embed code.

Starting from a template will not overwrite other quizzes. At this time you can only use the included templates, not save your own.

Good to know: Put contact fields early so partial completions still give you a lead to follow up.
