Making Funnel and Website Pages Load Faster

Quick pages convert better and rank better. Work through these steps from most to least impactful.

Images

  • Resize before uploading, close to the size shown on the page.
  • Use JPG or WebP for photos and PNG for transparent graphics.
  • Keep images above the fold under about 200 KB.
  • Use fewer images, such as one strong hero instead of several.
  • Keep Image Optimization enabled in funnel settings. Lazy loading is applied automatically either way.

Heavy Elements

  • Use short, small video backgrounds, or skip them.
  • Limit animations and widgets, and place forms, calendars, review widgets and maps below the first screen.
  • Avoid stacking third-party tracking scripts.

Clean Up Pages

  • Delete hidden or duplicate sections.
  • Simplify layouts with fewer rows, columns and elements.
  • Upload compressed PDFs and downloads.
  • Reuse saved sections instead of duplicating big layouts.
  • Prefer built-in forms and surveys, which load faster than outside ones.

Settings

Turn on Optimize JavaScript in funnel settings, which delays non-essential scripts and helps total blocking time. Keep custom CSS short, and use a custom domain with SSL to avoid extra redirects.

Measure

Test with free tools such as PageSpeed Insights or GTmetrix, on both desktop and mobile (mobile is slower). A well-built page can reach above 80 on mobile and above 95 on desktop, even with tracking and good images.

If a page stays very slow, contact support with the page link, your test results and what you have already tried.

Good to know: Test again after each change so you learn which fix actually moved the score.
