Launch an SMS Campaign
Text messages get opened. If you need to get an announcement or promotion in front of people fast, an SMS campaign is one of the most reliable ways to do it.
Pick your audience
Go to Contacts, apply any filters you need to narrow the list (like a specific tag or list), and select the contacts who should receive this message — or select all if it's going to everyone.
Write your message
For anything you'll send more than once, save it as a reusable snippet: go to Marketing > Snippets, add a new text snippet, and write your message. You can reuse it across future campaigns instead of retyping it every time, and drop in custom values so each recipient's name or details fill in automatically.
Send it
- From your selected contacts, choose to send a bulk SMS.
- Pick the phone number you're sending from.
- Write or insert your message.
- If your list is large, turn on Drip Mode so the messages go out in smaller batches over a set number of days rather than all at once — this keeps delivery reliable and avoids tripping carrier spam filters.
- Send.
Before you hit send
SMS is a more tightly regulated channel than email — only text people who've actually agreed to receive messages from you, and keep an eye on your account's messaging guidelines around content and frequency to keep your number in good standing.
Automate it instead
For messages that should go out based on an action rather than all at once — like the moment someone fills out a form — build a workflow instead of a one-time campaign: set your trigger, add a Send SMS action, and publish.
After you send
Check in on your campaign from Contacts > Smart Lists > Bulk Actions, where you can review status and pause or cancel a send that's still in progress.
