Which Domain Setup Do You Need?

Vendi Today uses domains for several purposes, and each one has its own DNS records. Choosing the right setup first avoids conflicts.

Common domain uses

• Sites domain: publishes websites, funnels, stores, blogs and webinars. Set up under Settings > Domains.
• Email sending domain: proves you own the domain you send email from, which improves delivery.
• Client Portal domain: gives courses, communities and customer pages a branded address.
• WordPress domain: for WordPress hosting through Vendi Today.

Do not reuse records from one type for another. Follow the instructions shown in the matching setup screen.

Root versus subdomain

Use a subdomain (such as offers.example.com) when the root domain already runs a website or mailbox. Adding a root domain that is in use can break that site or email.

Automatic or manual

If your provider supports automatic connection, authorize and let Vendi Today create the records. Otherwise add them by hand: open your DNS manager, create a record of the type shown, enter the host and value, and save. On Cloudflare, turn the proxy off.

Troubleshooting

1. Remove duplicate address records for the same hostname.
2. Wait for DNS to spread; up to 24 hours is normal.
3. Compare each record to what the screen shows, including extra spaces.
4. Make sure you edited the DNS where the domain actually points.
5. Contact support with a screenshot if it still fails.
