Meeting Gmail and Yahoo's Bulk Sender Requirements

Specific authentication and consent rules for bulk senders. Fall short and messages get delayed, blocked, or spam-routed.

What's required

Use a branded sending sub-domain, not shared (2–4 weeks to warm up). Set up DMARC (required above 5,000 emails/day, good practice regardless) starting with v=DMARC1; p=none;. Align your From address with your authenticated sending domain. Never use a free inbox address as From. Make unsubscribing effortless — a working link is required. Keep spam complaints under 0.30%; Google Postmaster Tools shows this for Gmail.

Getting there

Set up a dedicated sending domain, add the DMARC record, confirm sender addresses match, make sure every template has a working unsubscribe link. Mostly a one-time setup per domain.
