Fixing a Calendar That Won't Show on Your Website or Funnel
When a calendar widget just doesn't appear where you expect it — not blank, not erroring, simply not there — the cause is usually in how it was placed rather than in the calendar itself.
Check the embed first
- Confirm the embed code or widget block was actually saved and published on the page, not just added in a draft or preview state.
- Check that the embed code matches the calendar you intend to show — it's easy to copy the wrong calendar's code when managing several.
- If you're using a page builder, confirm the embed element wasn't accidentally placed inside a hidden section, a collapsed tab, or an element set to load conditionally.
Check the page itself
Look for a conflicting page element sitting on top of or behind the widget's container — overlapping sections in a page builder can visually hide a widget that's technically still loading correctly underneath.
Check calendar status
Confirm the calendar itself is active rather than paused, archived, or deleted — a widget pointing at an inactive calendar typically won't render at all rather than showing an error message explaining why.
Clear caching
If you recently added or changed the embed, a cached version of the page — either your own site cache or a visitor's browser cache — can keep showing the old version without the widget. Hard-refresh or clear cache before concluding the fix didn't take.
Good to know: Test the live published page in an incognito or private window rather than your regular browser — this avoids both your own site cache and any logged-in editing view masking what a real visitor actually sees.
