Connect a Domain Automatically with Domain Connect

Domain Connect adds the DNS records for you when your domain is registered with a supported provider, so you do not have to edit records by hand.

What you need

• A domain you already own with a supported provider (Google Domains, GoDaddy, Cloudflare or IONOS).
• Access to log in to that provider.

This feature connects a domain you own; it does not sell or host domains.

Connect your domain

1. Go to Settings > Domains and click Add Domain.
2. Enter your root domain or subdomain. You can also tick the option to add the www version.
3. Click Continue.
4. If your provider is supported, click Authorize. A provider window opens.
5. Approve the request there. The required records are added automatically.
6. Close the provider tab and return to Vendi Today to finish verification.
7. Wait a minute or so, then open your domain to confirm it loads.

If something goes wrong

• Unsupported provider: the screen shows the DNS records so you can add them yourself.
• You prefer manual setup: it is still available for every domain.
• The www address already points to another service: untick that option or move it deliberately first.
• Cloudflare proxy: make sure automatic changes by the connection are allowed.

Good to know: Some providers only finish authorizing after you close the provider tab, so close it before assuming it failed.
