Restore Deleted Blog Posts
Deleted posts are not gone right away. They move to a Deleted state where they can be recovered for 30 days.
Restore one post
- Go to Sites > Blog and open the blog.
- Click the Status filter and choose Deleted.
- Find the post and open its action menu.
- Select Restore blog post and confirm.
The post returns to your main list with the status it had before, either Draft or Published.
Restore several posts
- Filter by Deleted status.
- Tick the checkboxes next to the posts.
- Click Bulk Action and choose Restore blog posts.
- Confirm.
Permanently remove posts
From the same Deleted view, you can remove posts forever. Do this only when you are certain, since permanent removal cannot be undone, and any post left in the Deleted view past 30 days is no longer recoverable.
Good to know: If a restored post was previously live, check its slug and category, then confirm it still appears on your blog home.
