Create Images Automatically with the AI Image Generation Action
The AI Image Generation action turns a text prompt into a finished picture inside your workflow. The image is saved to your Media Storage at a public link, so later steps can attach it to emails, texts or social posts. It is a premium action, billed per execution.
Settings at a glance
- Model: choose from the available image models; each has a different look and different strengths with text, realism and composition.
- Quality: Auto, High, Medium or Low. Higher quality takes longer.
- Prompt: your description. Insert custom values to make each contact or record produce a unique picture.
- Templates: four starting prompts: Product Mockups, Social Post, Promo Flyer and Lifestyle.
- Reference images: up to five images for visual context, added by upload, from the media library, or by URL.
- Additional Settings: size, background, output format, plus your Design Kit and Brand Voice to keep results on-brand.
Build it
- Add AI Image Generation from AI Actions and name it clearly.
- Select a model and quality.
- Write your prompt, covering subject, style, setting, lighting and composition. Or pick a template and edit it.
- Click Enhance Prompt to have AI expand a rough idea; review and adjust the result.
- Add reference images if you want a specific look.
- Open Additional Settings to set size and brand options.
- Save the action.
Use the generated image
The action outputs the image URL as a variable. Insert it as an email image, an MMS attachment, a social post image, or pass it to another system through a webhook. You can also feed it to AI Analyze Image to check the result.
Ideas
- Personalized promo graphics for each segment.
- Social images generated from a product name in a form.
- Birthday or milestone cards.
Tips
- Try the same prompt on two models and compare.
- Be specific; vague prompts give generic pictures.
- Generated images are stored automatically, so clean up your media library periodically.
Good to know: Use the Design Kit option when consistency matters, such as customer-facing campaigns.
