Sending RCS Messages
Once your RCS sender is approved (see RCS Messaging Overview), you build messages as reusable snippets and send them to your contacts.
Creating a snippet
Go to Conversations > Snippets > Add RCS Snippet and choose a format:
- Plain text — the simplest option, text only, no images or buttons. Good for confirmations and reminders.
- Standalone card — one rich card with a title, description, an image or video, and up to 3 action buttons. Good for a single offer or appointment reminder.
- Carousel — 2 to 10 swipeable cards, each with its own title, description, media, and up to 2 buttons. Good for showing several products or options in one message.
For every snippet, also write a fallback SMS message — the plain-text version sent automatically to recipients whose devices don't support RCS.
Sending to a group
- Go to Contacts > Smart Lists and select your audience.
- Choose More > Send SMS & RCS.
- Select your approved sender ID and the snippet you built.
- Confirm the audience has given consent to be messaged, then send.
Track results — sent, delivered, opened — from the Bulk Actions page.
Sending one-to-one or via automation
You can also send a snippet directly inside an individual conversation, or trigger one from a workflow using the Send RCS or RCS Interactive Message actions — useful for things like an automated appointment reminder with a "Confirm" button built in.
Billing note
RCS is priced differently from plain SMS/MMS — the exact structure depends on your destination country and whether the message includes media. Check Settings > Phone System > Billing for current rates before a large send.
