Calculate Totals and Scores Inside a Form

Math calculations let a form or survey add up answers in real time, handy for quotes, budgets, self-assessments and lead scoring.

Fields you can use

Number and Monetary fields, plus option-based fields where each choice carries its own score: Radio Select, Checkbox, Single Dropdown and Multi Dropdown.

Set it up

  1. Open the form or survey in the builder.
  2. From Quick Add, drag the Score field onto the canvas.
  3. For each option in radio, checkbox or dropdown fields, enter a numeric score.
  4. Open the Score field's calculator and build the formula by picking the number or monetary fields and operators.
  5. Click anywhere inside the formula to edit it in place; use the arrow keys to move, Home and End to jump, so you never retype it all.
  6. Switch to Preview and change answers; the total updates immediately.
  7. Save.

Put the result to work

A score can drive Conditional Logic: redirect high scorers to a booking page, disqualify low scorers, or reveal extra questions. The value can also be mapped to a contact custom field for use in Workflows.

Example uses

  • A service estimator that totals selected add-ons.
  • A readiness checklist that scores each answer.
  • Lead qualification where budget and timeline earn points.

Good to know: Any custom field with "score" in its name is automatically treated as a scoring field, so name unrelated fields carefully.
