Control Your Sender Name, Reply-To, and Forwarding Address
Decide the From name/address and where replies land.
How the "from" address is chosen
One-on-one emails default to the logged-in sender's address. Templates/campaigns/workflows default to what you configure at that level, falling back to your account default. Assigned contacts favor the assigned team member's email for manual sends.
Override for a specific send by filling in From Name/Email on the Send Email step.
Setting reply and forward behavior
Settings > Email Services > Reply & Forward Settings:
Forwarding address — comma-separated addresses copied on every lead reply. Reply address — up to five addresses receiving incoming replies instead of/alongside Conversations (won't auto-sync back if replied to directly). BCC on emails — blind-copy on one-on-one/workflow/billing emails (not bulk/campaigns). Forward to assigned user — routes replies to the assigned team member.
Why this matters
Consistent sender names build recognition; correctly routed replies mean nothing falls through the cracks.
