Target Active Contacts with the Contact Engagement Score Trigger
Engagement score condenses how a contact interacts with you into one number. The Contact Engagement Score trigger enrolls contacts whose score meets your rule, so you can reward and re-engage the right people.
What fires it
The trigger fires when a contact's engagement score satisfies the conditions you set. It can also look at other contact attributes at the same time.
Filters
- Score (required): compare using Equals to, Greater than, Greater than or Equal to, Less than or Less than or Equal to.
- Business Niche (optional): match the contact's niche using Is empty, Is not empty, Contains Phrase or Does not contain Phrase.
Set it up
- Open Automation > Workflows and create a workflow.
- Click Add New Trigger and select Contact Engagement Score.
- Name it, such as "Highly engaged contacts".
- Click Add filters, choose Score, set Greater than and enter a number.
- Optionally add Business Niche with Contains Phrase and a word such as "Education".
- Click Save Trigger, add actions, and publish.
Example uses
- Reward loyalty: score above a high threshold sends a thank-you offer and adds an "Engaged" tag.
- Hand over to sales: a mid-range score for contacts in a chosen niche creates a task for a representative.
- Win-back: a score below a low threshold sends a re-engagement email.
Tips
- Check a few real contacts first so you pick thresholds that make sense for your own data.
- Add a tag at the end of the workflow and a Doesn't Have Tag filter so contacts are not processed twice.
Good to know: Combine the score with a niche or tag filter to keep messages relevant instead of treating every high scorer alike.
