Create Personality-Style Quizzes With Custom Category Results

Personality-style quizzes sort people into a type, such as a style, archetype or skill, based on their highest category. Using the lowest category instead highlights a weak spot.

Build the quiz

1. Open Sites > Quizzes, then + Add Quiz.
2. Click Manage Categories and add each outcome.
3. On every answer, set a Category and Score.
4. Open the Result Page editor and add an Individual Category section.
5. Set Display Category to Highest Score or Lowest Score.

Write the result content

Use the rich editor, with merge tags such as {{quiz_tags.highest_category_name}} and {{quiz_tags.highest_category_score}}, to write sentences like "Your style is [name] ([score]%)".

Add per-category content: text, an image or a video (top, bottom, left, right or fixed), a CTA button, and links. The first category can serve as a starting template; copy its layout, then customize each remaining category separately.

Show more than one result

• Add two Individual Category sections, one Highest and one Lowest.
• Add a Category Score section for the full breakdown.
• Keep an Overall Score section alongside; both can coexist.

Add tiers

Optional Low/Medium/High messages can sit on the Overall or Category sections.

Follow up

Use Workflows with the Quiz Submitted trigger to send different emails to each personality.

Good to know: Preview the quiz several times, answering to land in each category, so every result page is tested.
