Review Trigger and Message Statistics with Stats View

Stats View overlays performance numbers directly on your workflow, so you can see how many people entered and how your messages performed without leaving the canvas.

Turn it on

  1. Open a workflow under Automation > Workflows.
  2. Switch on Stats View at the top left.
  3. Click any trigger or action to see its numbers.

You cannot edit the workflow while Stats View is active; switch it off to make changes.

Trigger statistics

For a trigger, you will see:

  • Attempted: contacts the trigger evaluated.
  • Matched: contacts that met your filters and entered.
  • Unmatched: contacts that did not meet the conditions.

Click a number to open a detailed list, search for a particular contact, and find out why someone didn't match. Trigger statistics cover the last 30 days.

Message statistics

For email, SMS, and other communication actions, Stats View shows delivery and engagement figures for that step. Click a figure to open a full report on the contacts behind it.

Workflow-level totals

The workflow list also has a Stats section you can expand under each workflow, useful for comparing several automations at a glance.

Using the numbers

  • A big gap between attempted and matched suggests your filters are too narrow.
  • Low delivery numbers point to sender or number problems.
  • If a message step was removed later, its past statistics stay with the workflow.

Good to know: When a contact you expected didn't enter, check the unmatched detail first; it usually shows exactly which filter blocked them.
