Use Cal.com Triggers and Actions in Workflows

Connect Cal.com to react to the full life of a booking and to create or change bookings from inside a workflow.

Triggers

All are webhook-based and fire within seconds:

  • Booking Created
  • Booking Rescheduled (includes previous and new times)
  • Booking Cancelled (with the reason, if given)
  • Meeting Ended (fires at the scheduled end, and re-arms if the booking moves)
  • OOO Created / Updated (out-of-office entries)

Actions

  • Create Booking: needs an Event Type, attendee name, attendee email, and start time.
  • Cancel Booking: by booking ID, with an optional reason.
  • Reschedule Booking: moves it to a new time; Cal.com handles the invitations.
  • Find Booking: by ID, attendee email, or filters.

All four are premium actions.

Set up

  1. Go to Automation > Workflows and add a Cal.com trigger or action.
  2. Click Connect Now and authorize your Cal.com account. You only need to connect once; after that, every workflow can use it.
  3. For a trigger, select the event and click Test Trigger; choose a recent booking as the mapping reference.
  4. Add your steps, such as a confirmation text, a Contact update, or an internal task.
  5. Save and publish.

Examples

  • Text a booking summary the moment a meeting is created.
  • Send a feedback request after Meeting Ended.
  • Use Create Booking when a qualified lead submits a form.

Good to know: Pick a recent booking in Test Trigger so your later steps can use real field names such as start time and attendee.
