Build a LinkedIn Lead Form

LinkedIn lead forms collect details inside LinkedIn so people never leave the app. Ad Manager lets you design the form, preview it and map every answer to a contact field.

Open the builder

  1. Create a LinkedIn campaign with the Lead Generation objective.
  2. At the ad level, find Select a Lead Form and click Create New.

Fill in each section

  1. Form name: a timestamp name is suggested. Replace it with something clear (up to 256 characters).
  2. Greeting: a required headline (60 characters) and optional details (160 characters).
  3. Language: choose the display language.
  4. Questions:
    • Up to 12 pre-filled LinkedIn profile fields, such as name, email, job title and company.
    • Up to 3 custom questions, short answer or multiple choice.
    • Up to 20 hidden fields for tracking values like campaign IDs or UTM tags.
  5. Form field mapping: match each pre-filled, custom and hidden field to a Vendi Today contact field so submissions flow into Workflows and pipelines.
  6. Data privacy: a required privacy policy URL, optional disclaimer text and up to 5 consent checkboxes.
  7. Confirmation page: a headline (60 characters), a description (300 characters) and an optional button to visit your site, download a file or call you. Each button needs a link and label.
  8. Preview and save: check the desktop and mobile preview, then click Create Form.

Best practices

  • Fewer fields usually means more completed forms.
  • Write a headline that states the value people get.
  • Include at least one consent checkbox where regulations require it.
  • Use hidden fields to tag the lead source as LinkedIn.

New leads appear in Contacts with LinkedIn as the source, ready for follow-up.

Good to know: Submit a test lead yourself after publishing and confirm every answer lands in the right contact field.
