Displaying the Rental Booking Widget
Once your listings and pricing are set up, customers need a way to actually see and book them. The rental booking widget is what you embed on your website, a funnel page, or share as a direct link.
What the widget shows
The widget typically displays your rental listings with photos, descriptions, and pricing, then walks the customer through selecting dates (or hours), any applicable add-ons, and payment — ending with a confirmed or unconfirmed booking depending on whether auto-confirm is turned on.
Customizing the look
- Go to your rental calendar's booking page settings.
- Choose a layout style if more than one is offered, and adjust colors, background, and button styling to match your branding.
- Decide which listings are visible on this particular widget — you can scope a widget to show only certain listings or categories if you're embedding different widgets on different pages.
- Preview the widget on both desktop and mobile before publishing, since rental widgets tend to have more visual content (photos, calendars) that can behave differently on small screens.
Embedding it
Copy the widget's embed code or link and place it on your site, landing page, or funnel. If it's not displaying where expected, confirm the embed code wasn't altered when pasted and that the page itself doesn't have conflicting styles hiding the widget's container.
Good to know: Test the full booking flow from the live embedded widget — not just the settings preview — since embedded context (page width, surrounding styles) can affect how the widget renders in ways a settings-page preview won't catch.
