What Affiliates See in the Affiliate Portal

The Affiliate Portal is the private area where your affiliates track their own results. Knowing what they see helps you answer questions and set expectations.

Getting Affiliates In

When you add an affiliate to a live campaign, an invitation email goes out as long as the invite email option is switched on in the campaign settings. The email contains the sign-in details, and you can also send a magic link from the affiliate's profile. After signing in, the affiliate lands on their dashboard.

The Main Screens

  • Dashboard: Every campaign the affiliate belongs to, with leads, customers, clicks and commissions at a glance, plus quick access to referral links.
  • Leads and Customers: The people who signed up or bought through the affiliate's links.
  • Commissions: Earnings, generated revenue, payout status and the payout term that applies.
  • Payout Methods: Where the affiliate adds PayPal or bank details.
  • Sub-Affiliates: Shown when the campaign has multiple tiers. If sign-ups are enabled, a shareable recruitment link appears here.
  • Media: Banners and files you have shared with their campaigns.

Controlling the Experience

Open Marketing > Affiliate Manager > Settings > Affiliate Portal Settings to switch these options on or off:

  1. Ask for tax forms: Shows a banner prompting W-9 or W-8 upload.
  2. Require a payout method: Nudges affiliates to add one.
  3. Mask referral emails: Hides part of each referral's address (for example, jo****@example.com).
  4. Configure Payout Methods: Pick which methods affiliates may choose.

Click Save after changing any toggle.

Good to know: Keep at least one payout method enabled so affiliates are never left without a way to receive money.
