Start a WordPress Site From a Template

Instead of building from a blank page, you can launch a WordPress site from a ready-made design in the template library. You then swap in your own words, photos, and colors.

When to choose a template

• You want a polished starting point in minutes.
• Your business fits a common pattern, such as a service company, restaurant, or portfolio.
• You prefer editing an existing layout rather than designing from scratch.

A WordPress site is a full installation hosted by Vendi Today, which is an alternative to the built-in funnel and website builder. It requires an active WordPress hosting plan.

Creating the site

1. Open Sites and click the WordPress tab.
2. Click + Create Site.
3. Select Choose Template.
4. Browse the library and click a design to preview it.
5. Review your selection, type a name for the new site, and choose a server location if asked.
6. Click Create.
7. Follow the progress bar. Setup takes a short while, then the site is ready.

What to do next

• Open the admin panel with the WP Admin button and edit pages, menus, and branding.
• Replace sample text and images with your own.
• Connect your forms, chat widget, and calendars using the Vendi Today plugin.
• Add your domain when the site is ready to go public. Until then, you may want to keep search indexing switched off.

You can still choose a blank site or clone an existing one if no template fits.

Good to know: Preview a template on a phone-sized screen before choosing it, since most visitors will see it on mobile first.
