Ask for Reviews Automatically with the Review Request Action
The Review Request action sends a contact a polite request to rate your business, using the message and links configured in your reputation settings.
Fields
- Action Name: defaults to "Send Review Request".
- Review Type: choose how it is sent, such as E-mail or SMS.
- Reputation Settings link: opens the place where you edit the message template and review links.
Set it up
- Open Reputation settings first and write your request message, with a thank-you line, a short ask and the link to your review site.
- In Automation > Workflows, pick a trigger such as Appointment Status Changed to Showed or Invoice Paid.
- Click + and choose Review Request.
- Choose the Review Type.
- Click Save Action and publish.
Timing tips
- Add a Wait of a few hours after the visit so the experience is fresh but you are not intrusive.
- Branch with If/Else on a satisfaction answer, and only send happy customers to public review sites.
- Use a Goal Event set to Review Request Clicked to stop reminders once someone clicks.
Example
Trigger: appointment marked Showed. Wait 3 hours. Review Request by text. Wait 2 days. If no click, send one gentle email.
Good to know: One reminder is enough, since repeated review requests tend to annoy customers.
