Run LinkedIn Ads from Ad Manager
LinkedIn ads let you reach business audiences by job title, industry, company size and more. Ad Manager connects to your LinkedIn ad account so you can build, publish and track those campaigns beside your Meta and Google ones. Leads captured by LinkedIn forms arrive in Contacts automatically.
Before you connect
- An active ad account in LinkedIn Campaign Manager.
- A LinkedIn Company Page linked to that ad account.
- Campaign Manager access to the account and admin access to the Page.
Connect the account
- Go to Marketing > Ad Manager and click the gear icon.
- Under Platform Settings, choose LinkedIn.
- Click + Connect Account, then Connect LinkedIn, sign in and approve the permissions.
- Confirm the account appears with an Active status and its currency.
You can connect more than one ad account and switch between them there. Click the bin icon beside an account to disconnect it. If an account is missing, check your permissions and that it is linked to a valid Company Page.
How LinkedIn campaigns are organized
- Campaign Group: the top-level container that holds budget and schedule.
- Campaign: audience, media type, language and location.
- Ad: the creative, copy and call to action.
What you can run
- Objectives: Lead Generation (with LinkedIn lead forms) and Website Traffic.
- Formats: single image, single video and carousel, with a live desktop and mobile preview.
- Rejected ads: show a Rejected status in Ad Manager with LinkedIn's feedback so you can fix and resubmit.
Track results
Open Statistics and choose LinkedIn to compare impressions, clicks, CTR, CPC, CPM, CPL, leads, spend and conversions. Drill from group to campaign to ad, and pause, resume or edit from there.
Good to know: Use a work email profile that actually administers the Company Page when connecting; personal profiles without admin rights are the usual reason an account will not appear.
