Control Who on Your Team Can Use WordPress
Not everyone on your team needs the keys to your WordPress sites. A dedicated permission lets you decide which users can see the WordPress tab and manage hosting.
Why restrict access
- Security: fewer people with access means fewer chances for an accidental deletion or a compromised login.
- Focus: staff who only work on funnels or contacts will not see unrelated tools.
- Accountability: you can pair limited access with activity logs to see who changed what.
Give or remove access
- Open Settings from the left sidebar.
- Go to the My Staff (or Team) tab.
- Click Edit next to the user.
- Scroll to Roles and Permissions.
- Find the WordPress option and switch it on or off.
- Save your changes.
The person may need to refresh or sign in again before the tab appears or disappears.
What this controls
Turning WordPress off hides the area where sites are created, managed, cloned, and deleted. It does not affect other parts of Vendi Today, such as Contacts, Conversations, or Calendars, which have their own permissions.
Good practice
- Start with access off and add it only for people who need it.
- Review the list when staff roles change or someone leaves.
- Keep full administrator rights inside WordPress itself to a small group; you can check this in the site's user management screen.
- Turn on Activity Logs to keep a record of changes.
Good to know: Check a user's permissions after promoting them to a new role, because role changes do not always bring WordPress access along.
