Using the FAQ Element
The FAQ element organizes questions and answers in a tidy block so readers can scan for what they need. It works well in newsletters, onboarding messages and product updates.
How it behaves
Each item has a question and an answer that can expand and collapse. Interactivity depends on the reader's email app. Where an app does not support it, the answers stay open so nothing is hidden.
Adding an FAQ block
- Go to Marketing > Emails > Templates and open a template.
- Click Add Elements and drag FAQ into the layout.
- Click the block to open the Edit tab.
- Type or paste each question and its answer.
- Style text with the toolbar: bold, color, size.
- Adjust padding, spacing and alignment between items.
- Use the Visibility tab if you need device or contact-based rules.
- Preview on desktop and mobile.
How many questions?
There is no hard limit, but three to six per block reads best. If you have more, split them into themed blocks or across several emails.
Reuse
Duplicate the block inside a template, or save it as a reusable item to keep wording consistent across campaigns.
Why it helps
Answering the obvious questions in the email itself reduces replies and support requests, and it gives your call-to-action button more credibility.
Good to know: Write answers in one or two sentences and link out for details instead of crowding the email.
