Add a Search Bar to Your Store

Once your catalog grows, a search bar is often faster for shoppers than clicking through collections.

Two ways to add it

As a standalone element: open the page builder, go to Add Elements under Store, drop the Search Bar element.

In your navigation menu: enable Show Search Bar in navigation menu settings — quicker but fewer styling options.

Styling it

Search button color, input/dropdown text and background colors, border colors, font size and weight.

What it searches

A dropdown of suggestions appears based on matching product titles as a shopper types; a full search also checks product descriptions.

One requirement

Only works on a page where a store is actually active.
