Add Watermarks to Social Images

Watermarks stamp your logo or handle on image posts automatically when they publish. You can assign a different watermark to each connected account, which is ideal when you manage several brands.

What to know first

  • Each social account can have one watermark at a time.
  • Accepted files are PNG or JPG, at least 200 x 200 px and no larger than 5 MB.
  • Watermarks apply to images only. Videos, RSS posts, and review-sharing posts are not watermarked.

Upload and assign a watermark

  1. Go to Marketing > Social Planner > Settings.
  2. Open the Watermark tab. If you used an older single watermark, it appears in the list as All Socials.
  3. Click + Add Watermark and give it a recognizable name.
  4. Upload your logo file.
  5. Adjust the placement with the alignment controls, set the Opacity, resize it with Scale, and add breathing room with Auto Padding.
  6. Choose All accounts or tick specific ones.
  7. Click Create.

You can edit, rename, replace, or delete any watermark from the list later.

How changes behave

  • New posts use whatever is assigned at the moment they publish.
  • Opening or cloning an older post shows the original, un-stamped image; the watermark is added when you save.
  • Category Queue and Recurring posts pick up a new watermark starting with their next run.
  • Deleting an assigned watermark returns those accounts to No watermark.
  • Posts already scheduled keep their media unless you edit them.

Good to know: Use a transparent PNG at about 30 to 50 percent opacity so the mark is visible but does not cover the subject of your photo.
