Switching Radio Buttons and Checkboxes to Bubble Style
Bubble style replaces the standard small circles and squares on choice fields with larger, rounded "bubbles". They are easier to tap and give forms, surveys and quizzes a friendlier look.
Turn It On
- Go to Sites > Forms (or Surveys or Quizzes) and click Edit on the asset.
- Click an existing Radio or Checkbox field, or drag a new one onto the canvas.
- In the right sidebar, open Options.
- Under Style, choose Bubble instead of Standard.
- Click Save, then preview or embed as usual.
What to Expect
- Bubble applies to the whole field. You cannot bubble just one answer.
- It is responsive. The bubbles resize on phones, tablets and large screens, giving comfortable tap targets.
- It is only visual. Submissions, conditional logic and Workflow triggers behave exactly as before.
- It works in forms, surveys and quizzes placed in funnels, websites or outside pages through embed code.
- Existing assets keep their current look until you switch them.
- It uses light styling, so page speed is not affected.
Design Tips
Pair bubble style with a column layout for multi-choice answers so options line up neatly across devices. Keep answer labels short so each bubble stays on one line, and check that the selected state has enough color contrast against your background.
Good to know: Use bubbles on questions with three to six choices, where larger tap targets help most.
