Recurring Appointments

Some appointments aren't one-off events — a weekly coaching call, a biweekly maintenance visit, a monthly check-in. Instead of booking each occurrence separately, Vendi Today lets you set up a recurring series in a single booking.

Setting up a recurring appointment

When booking an appointment — either manually from the backend or through the customer-facing booking page, if you've enabled it there — look for the recurrence option and choose how often it repeats: weekly, biweekly, monthly, or a custom cadence. Set how many occurrences to create, or an end date for the series.

Managing an existing series

Once a recurring series exists, you can reschedule or cancel a single occurrence without touching the rest of the series, or make a change that applies to every remaining occurrence at once — useful if a customer's whole recurring time slot needs to shift going forward. Each occurrence still shows up individually in your calendar and appointment list, so your reporting and statuses work exactly the same as with any other appointment.

A note on payments

If the calendar collects payment at time of booking, keep in mind that partial deposits aren't supported on recurring series — recurring appointments only support collecting the full payment amount per booking, not a reduced deposit.

Good to know: Recurring appointments are a good fit for retainer-style services and ongoing care relationships, but if your availability changes often, a series booked too far in advance can end up needing more manual cleanup than booking each session as it comes up.
