Set Manual Expiry Dates for Certificate Templates

You can control when a certificate template itself stops being usable.

Setting a template expiry

1. Go to your Certificates dashboard.
2. Find the template and open its three-dot menu.
3. Choose Set a Date.
4. Pick the expiration date.
5. Confirm.

Making a template permanent

Select Never from the same menu to remove an expiry date.

Template expiry vs. certificate expiry

Template expiry controls whether the template can still issue new certificates; certificate expiry controls whether an already-issued certificate is still valid.
