Add the Chat Widget to Wix, Shopify, Squarespace, Duda or Weebly

If your public site lives on another builder, you can still use your Vendi Today chat widget by pasting its embed code.

Get the code first. Go to Sites > Chat Widget, open your widget and click Get Code. Copy the snippet.

Wix

1. In the Wix dashboard open Settings > Advanced > Custom Code and choose Add Custom Code.
2. Paste the code, name it, apply it to All Pages with Load code once, and place it in Head.
3. Click Apply.

(Alternatively, add an Embed HTML element in the editor and paste the code into it.)

Shopify

1. Open Online Store, choose your theme, then Actions > Edit code.
2. Open theme.liquid in the Layout folder.
3. Paste the code just above the closing body tag.
4. Save and refresh your store.

Squarespace

1. Open Settings > Developer Tools > Code Injection.
2. Paste the code in the Header or Footer box and save.
3. Or add an Embed block on one page and paste it in the code field.

Duda

1. In the editor, open Settings > Head HTML, paste the code and save.
2. Or drag an HTML element onto a page and paste it there.

Weebly

1. Open Settings > SEO > Header Code Injection, paste the code and save.
2. Or drag a Custom HTML/Embed Code element onto a page and paste it there.

Good to know: Site-wide placement shows the chat on every page; use a single-page element only when you want it somewhere specific.
