Why Some Emails Get Blocked Before Sending

A warning that a send never even attempted — a protective check, not a bug.

What's happening

Vendi Today validates the recipient's domain before every send. Flagged domains (disposable/fake, associated with abuse) get blocked at that stage rather than bouncing later.

You'll see: "This email address is invalid as the domain is restricted for security reasons."

Why this is actually a good thing

A blocked send doesn't count as a bounce — protects your reputation by refusing addresses that were never going to work.

What to do about it

Double-check for typos. Ask the contact to confirm/update their address. No override from the UI — contact support for a case-by-case review if an important domain seems wrongly blocked.
