Create a Contact Form That Feeds Your Contacts List

A contact form is the quickest way to turn website visitors into records in Contacts. Every submission creates (or updates) a contact, so your team can follow up without copying data between tools.

Choose the right fields

Keep the form short. Name, email and phone cover most needs; add a Message box, a drop-down for the service someone wants, or a custom field for details such as budget or preferred contact method. Fewer fields usually means more completed submissions.

Build the form

  1. Go to Sites > Forms and click + Add Form.
  2. Pick Start from Scratch or a template, then click Create.
  3. Drag elements from the Add Element panel onto the canvas. Use Quick Add for standard contact fields, or add any existing custom field.
  4. Click a field to mark it Required or edit its label and placeholder.
  5. Open Styles & Options to set layout, colors and a theme.
  6. Open the Notifications tab to alert your team and optionally send an auto-reply.
  7. Click Save, then Preview and submit a test entry.

Publish and follow up

Use Integrate to copy a direct link or embed code. To start follow-up automatically, create a Workflow with the Form Submitted trigger and choose this form. Review responses any time under Sites > Forms > Submissions.

Good to know: Submit a test entry with your own email first, then check Contacts to confirm each field landed in the column you expected.
