Visits by Country, State, and City

The "Top visits by" card in Sites Analytics turns your traffic into an interactive heat map. It shows where visitors are located at three levels of detail, so you can see whether your audience matches the markets you are paying to reach.

What you will see

  • A shaded map: darker areas mean more visits. Hover over any region to read its exact visitor count.
  • A ranked list: the top ten countries, states, or cities by visits, shown beside the map.
  • A running total: the number of visits at the current level stays visible above the map and refreshes as you switch levels.
  • A level selector: one dropdown switches between Country, State, and City, and the map and list update immediately.

How to open it

  1. Go to Sites in the left sidebar and click the Analytics tab.
  2. Use the top-left dropdown to choose Funnels, Websites, or Webinars, and optionally narrow to a single asset with the second dropdown.
  3. Pick a date range from the selector on the right, such as the last 7, 14, 30, 60, or 90 days, or a custom range.
  4. Scroll to the Top visits by card, located under Page Views.
  5. Choose Country, State, or City above the map and review the list.

Ways to use it

  • Move ad budget toward regions that already engage.
  • Spot a sudden surge from an unfamiliar place, which may be a bot wave or an unexpected mention.
  • Decide whether localized pricing, language, or offers make sense for a high-traffic region.

If the map stays empty, your site may have very little traffic in the chosen period, or the tracking code on a custom page may not be installed correctly.

Good to know: The map shows combined traffic for whatever assets you selected; for the performance of one page, use the page-level figures higher up on the dashboard.
