Add SEO Details to Products and Collections

A bit of metadata on each product and collection page goes a long way toward how it ranks in search.

Adding SEO info to a product

1. Go to Payments > Products and open a product (must already be in your online store).
2. Fill in SEO title, description, and a custom URL slug.
3. Save.

The featured image becomes the preview image in search results. Each slug needs to be unique.

Adding SEO info to a collection

Go to Payments > Products > Collections, open a collection, set an image plus its own SEO title, description, and URL handle.

Why bother with both

Products and collections are indexed somewhat independently — optimizing both gives more surface area to show up in search.
