Messaging Analytics
The messaging analytics dashboard shows how your text messages are actually performing — not just that you sent them, but whether they arrived.
Where to find it
Go to Settings > Phone System > Messaging Analytics.
What it tracks
- Sent — messages handed off for delivery
- Delivered — messages that successfully reached the recipient
- Failed — messages that didn't go through (bad number, carrier block, etc.)
- Filtered (error 30007) — messages a carrier flagged as spam-like and blocked
- Received — inbound messages you got back
- Opted-out — recipients who replied STOP or otherwise unsubscribed
Reading the trends
- Failure rate trend — a day-by-day view of your failure percentage; a sustained rate above roughly 10% is a strong signal something's wrong with your content, list quality, or compliance status.
- Failure reason breakdown — a chart showing why messages are failing (invalid numbers, carrier filtering, compliance issues) so you know what to fix first.
- Opt-out rate trend — track how often people unsubscribe; a rate above roughly 2% usually means your messaging is too frequent, unexpected, or not clearly identified as coming from your business.
Filtering
Narrow the view by date range (last 7/30/90 days or custom), by campaign, by workflow, or by bulk send — useful for isolating whether a problem is tied to one specific send rather than your account as a whole. Click any summary card to drill into the individual messages behind it, including the contact, status, and error code for each.
If you're seeing a high failure or filtering rate, see Troubleshooting SMS Delivery.
