Dashboard Sections: Conversions, Engagement and Top Emails

The statistics area is split into sections, each answering a different question. Here is what each one shows and how to use it.

Open the statistics

  1. Go to Marketing > Emails > Campaigns, then open Statistics.
  2. Pick the date range, such as the last 7 or 30 days.
  3. For trends, choose a metric from the dropdown in Performance Analysis.

If you do not see statistics, check that the feature is enabled in your beta or settings options.

The sections

Conversion Summary gives a quick view of sales: orders placed, revenue, order rate and average order value.

Engagement Summary works like a funnel. It shows emails sent, opened, clicked and converted, where opens and clicks are counted once per contact no matter how often they interact. It shows where people drop off.

Performance Analysis charts how metrics such as sent, opened, clicked and unsubscribed change over time, so you can tell whether results are improving.

Top Performing Emails ranks the five emails bringing in the most revenue. Study what they have in common.

Recent Email Analysis lists your ten most recent sends for a quick check on new campaigns.

Putting it together

Look for a pattern. If opens are strong but clicks are weak, improve the call to action. If clicks are strong but orders are low, review the landing page. If unsubscribes jump, you may be sending too often or to the wrong audience.

Good to know: Use a consistent date range when comparing two campaigns so the results are fair.
