Duplicate an Event or Copy Its Design
Running a recurring workshop or annual conference? Duplicate the old event into a new draft rather than rebuilding it.
What Carries Over
Always copied: name and details, short summary, description, cover image, date and time, location, organizer information.
Optional: Design (colors, fonts, layout, custom CSS), Content and settings (page text, FAQ, checkout configuration), Tickets and sessions (ticket types and pricing, schedule and speakers).
Never copied: registrations and attendees, orders and payments, coupons, and check-in records. The new event starts clean.
Duplicate an Event
- Go to Memberships, then Events.
- Hover over an event and open its three-dot menu.
- Click Duplicate.
- Enter the new start and end dates and times.
- Under Choose what to copy, select the optional items.
- Click Preview and compare "Copying from" with "Your event after copy".
- Click Duplicate, then open the new draft and edit it.
Duplicate a Ticket Type
- Open the event and go to Tickets.
- Click the three-dot menu beside a ticket.
- Choose Duplicate.
- Update name, price, quantity, sale period, and visibility.
- Click Save Ticket.
Copy Design from Another Event
- Open the destination event and go to Pages & Design.
- Click Copy from another event.
- Choose the source and the elements to bring over.
Good to know: Coupons are not duplicated, so recreate any promotion codes for the new date.
