Email Builder Overview and the Inline Editor

The Email Builder in Vendi Today lets you design emails visually, with every edit appearing on the canvas exactly as recipients will see it. The same editor powers both reusable templates and one-off campaigns, so skills you learn once apply everywhere.

Opening the builder

1. Go to Marketing > Emails.
2. Open the Templates tab to create or edit a template, or the Campaigns tab to build a send.
3. Choose a starting point (blank, a saved template, or a library design) and the builder opens.

The three toolbar controls

• Add Elements shows every content block you can drag onto the canvas, such as text, images, buttons, dividers and layouts.
• Manage Elements lists the whole structure of your email so you can select, reorder, hide or delete any block without hunting for it on the canvas.
• Appearance holds the global look: background color, content width, button defaults, divider defaults, custom CSS and mobile formatting.

Editing text directly

Click any text block and a floating toolbar appears. From it you can change the heading level, font, size (8px to 96px), color (hex codes work), and apply bold, italic, underline or strikethrough. You can also add links, change alignment and line height, switch to bulleted or numbered lists, and use Clear Format to wipe styling pasted in from another document.

New blocks start with default padding of 12 top, 12 bottom, 24 left and 24 right, which keeps spacing consistent. Change it per block whenever a design needs more or less room.

Dock the edit panel

If you are working beside Content AI, you can dock the edit panel on the right side of the screen instead of the left. Use the panel switch control in the editor to move it back and forth.

Good to know: Use Preview and a test send before every campaign, because different inbox apps render the same design slightly differently.
