Edit or Update a Published or Draft Post
You can revise any post after it has been saved, whether it is still a draft or already live. Content and settings are edited in two separate places.
Edit the content
- Go to Sites > Blog and open the blog.
- Find the post and click the three-dot menu beside it.
- Choose Update Post.
- Make your changes in the editor.
Edit the post settings
Inside the editor, click Update Settings to change the slug, category, author, keywords, canonical link and search details. Click Publish (or Update Post for something that is already live) to apply them.
Change only the search details
If you only need a new title, description or cover image, you can skip the editor. Use the three-dot menu on the post and choose Change Blog Post SEO Details, edit the fields, and click Update Blog Post.
Where does the blog appear?
A blog's posts are shown wherever you place its blog list. You can attach a domain at creation time or later in the blog's Settings. To switch domains, choose Remove Domain first and then connect the new one.
Good to know: Changing a slug on a post that has been live for a while changes its address, so set up a redirect from the old link if people have shared it.
