Accept Donations and Custom Amounts in Forms

The Payment element, found under Integrations in the Add Element panel, lets a form collect money directly, whether for donations, deposits or open-ended amounts.

Ways to be paid

  • Online: through a connected payment processor, with live and test modes.
  • Manual: cash on delivery, bank transfer, checks or other offline arrangements you define in Payments > Integrations > Manual Payment Methods.

Donation amounts

  • Suggested amounts: Add up to 15 preset amounts, choose a currency, and enable Other Amount so donors can type their own. You can edit the label that shows once an amount is chosen.
  • User-defined amount: With no suggestions, donors simply enter any amount; add a placeholder to guide them.
  • Recurring gifts: Add the Custom Amount element, switch on Recurring Payment, and choose which frequencies (weekly, monthly, yearly) donors can pick.

Set up

  1. Open the form and drag the Payment element onto the canvas.
  2. Connect your processor and choose Test or Live mode.
  3. Configure the amount options above and edit the header text.
  4. Save, then preview and run a test payment.

Tracking

Submission details show the amount, order ID and status. Clicking the order ID opens the order in Payments. Notification emails include the same, and a Payment Received trigger in Workflows can respond.

Good to know: Test mode first, always; run one small test donation before you promote the form.
