Organize Campaigns, Templates and Sequences in Nested Folders

When your email program grows, a single long list becomes hard to search. Nested folders let you group campaigns, templates and sequences into a tree, the same way on each tab.

How the folders work

  • The top level, called Home, shows your main folders and any unfiled items.
  • Each folder can contain items and more folders.
  • A breadcrumb path, such as Home / Newsletters / 2026, shows where you are and lets you jump back up.
  • Folders only organize. They do not change how emails send, your reports, or who has access.

Create folders

  1. Go to Marketing > Emails and open Campaigns, Templates or Sequences.
  2. At Home, click New Folder, name it and save.
  3. Open that folder and click New Folder again to add a subfolder.

Move things around

  1. For an item, open its three-dot menu and select Move to Folder.
  2. Pick the destination and confirm.
  3. To relocate a folder, open its menu, choose Move Folder and select a new parent.

Structure ideas

  • By purpose: Newsletters, Promotions, Onboarding.
  • By audience: Customers, Prospects, VIP.
  • By lifecycle: Welcome, Post-purchase, Re-engagement.
  • By year or quarter for archives.

Keep it simple. Start with one or two levels and mirror the same pattern across campaigns, templates and sequences.

Common questions

Search works across all folders. Deleting a folder does not delete its contents, which move up a level. More than five levels are possible, though shorter paths are easier to manage.

Good to know: Adopt one naming format with your team so everyone files assets in the same place.
