Report Conversions to Google Ads with the Add to Google Ads Action

When someone clicks your Google ad and later becomes a lead, books or buys, Google only learns about it if you tell it. The Add to Google Ads action sends that conversion back to your Google Ads account so campaigns can be measured and optimized on real results.

What must be in place

  1. Your Google Ads account is connected under Settings > Integrations.
  2. At least one conversion action already exists in Google Ads. Vendi Today reads the available conversion actions from your account; if none exist, the dropdown is empty.
  3. The contact record carries a click identifier from the ad visit (GCLID, GBRAID or WBRAID). Without one, Google cannot attribute the conversion.

Set it up

  1. In Google Ads, create the conversion action (for example "Form Lead") and note its exact name.
  2. In Vendi Today, open Automation > Workflows and add a trigger for the real-world event, such as Form Submitted, Customer Booked Appointment, Trigger Link Clicked, Customer Replied or an order or survey trigger.
  3. Click + and choose Add to Google Ads.
  4. Select the conversion action, using the exact name.
  5. Configure any value fields shown, such as conversion value.
  6. Save and publish.

Popular uses

  • Count booked appointments as conversions.
  • Report offline sales, such as deals marked Won, with their revenue.
  • Track chat or text replies as qualified leads.

Getting reliable data

  • Make sure forms and landing pages preserve the click ID so it is stored on the contact.
  • Keep conversion names identical between both systems; a changed name breaks matching.
  • Fire the action once per contact; use a tag or condition to prevent duplicates.
  • Google may take hours to display new conversions.

Good to know: Use the stage that best signals quality, such as a booked appointment, instead of every raw form fill, so Google optimizes toward valuable leads.
