Restoring a Deleted Calendar

Deleted a calendar by mistake? As long as you act quickly, you can usually get it back through your account's audit logs.

How to restore it

1. Go to Settings > Audit Logs.
2. Find the log entry recording the calendar's deletion.
3. Click the three-dot menu next to that entry and select Restore.
4. The calendar, along with its associated appointments, is recovered.

Limitations to know about

• Appointment window: only appointments that were deleted within roughly 30 minutes of the calendar deletion get restored along with it. Appointments removed at other times, separately from the calendar deletion, are not recovered by this process.
• Audit log retention: audit logs are kept for a maximum of 60 days. If more than 60 days have passed since the calendar was deleted, the log entry — and your ability to restore it this way — will be gone.
• Scope: this only recovers what was lost as a direct result of the calendar deletion itself, not other changes made around the same time.
