Can I Export My Website to Another Platform?
Short answer: not as a working, editable site. Pages built in the Vendi Today editor are designed to live and be managed here, and there is no one-click export that produces a full copy you can edit elsewhere.
What Is Not Supported
- A one-to-one export of a site to a different builder or host.
- Editing a copied page with the Vendi Today editor once it is hosted somewhere else.
- Support for sites that have been copied out and hosted externally.
What Technically Happens If You Copy the HTML
You can open a published page in your browser, use View Page Source, and save the result as an .html file. This only captures the rendered output of that one page. It then:
- is no longer managed or updated by Vendi Today,
- cannot be edited in the editor,
- still depends on your original account and its assets staying active for images and other files.
Treat this as unofficial and unsupported.
Sensible Uses for Copied HTML
- Reference or recover wording and structure.
- Rebuild the site by hand on another platform.
- Keep an archive for your records.
Planning Ahead
If you may move later, keep your own copies of images, text and brand assets, and note your page structure and URLs. Use a custom domain you control so visitors keep the same address if you ever migrate, and set up redirects when addresses change.
Good to know: Keep original images and copy in a folder you own, since that is what makes any future rebuild quick.
