Use the Hosted Video Player

The hosted video player lets you upload and play your own videos on funnel and website pages, with viewer controls and tracking, without relying on an outside video site.

What it offers

  • Upload and manage videos from your Media Library, up to 4 GB in most common formats.
  • Playback in 480p, 720p, 1080p or Auto.
  • Playback speeds from 0.5x to 2x and picture-in-picture.
  • Optional controls for fullscreen, pending time and the progress bar.
  • Autoplay and seeking controls.

Add a hosted video

  1. Add a Video element to your page.
  2. In Video Settings, set Video Type to Hosted Video.
  3. Click Select Video to open the Media Library and upload your file if needed.
  4. Double-click the file to start encoding, which prepares it for playback and tracking.
  5. Select the encoded video, then adjust its controls.

Playback controls

Toggle Autoplay, Allow Play/Pause, Allow Playback Speed Control, Show Pending Time, Show Full-Screen Toggle and Show Progress Bar. Browsers require autoplay videos to start muted. Redirect Unregistered Visitors sends people who arrive without being a Contact to a registration page when you track viewing.

If an encoded video cannot be selected

Wait a few minutes, refresh, reselect the file to retry, and confirm it is under 4 GB in a supported format such as MP4.

Good to know: Turn off the progress bar if you plan to trigger actions from viewing progress.
